After graduating from the Western Culinary Institute in Portland, Oregon, Chef Brett Knipmeyer returned to Chicago for a stint at the world-renowned Charlie Trotter's. After moving to Alaska to be the head chef at Jens Restaurant, Brett has now staked his own culinary claim, and named it after his daughter, Kinley. While at Kinley's Restaurant, Chef Brett has been nominated for a James Beard Award, gained his sommelier certification, and donated his time to some of the largest charity events in Alaska.
