Wild Abandon

November 6, 2009

Medium:

Photography

Artist Statement:

I've known for a long time that a lot of buildings and sites are as beautiful in abandonment and decay as they are when maintained and in use. The economic crash of 2008 slowed down our mad rush to tear down and rebuild and gave an opportunity to look closely at places in transition. In process, I think we can learn something about our approach to creating the settings in which our lives unfold.
